The Story

Australian financial media has a problem. It's either too dense, written for fund managers and CFOs – or too surface-level, covering markets without ever explaining why they move. There's almost nothing in between.

Meanwhile, a generation of young Australians is genuinely interested in finance. They're investing, following macro news, applying to endless internships, and trying to understand what simple finance concepts actually mean. They just don't have a home.

Capital Down Under is that home. A five-minute weekly briefing that covers the ASX, big deals, and global markets with the context and plain-English explanations that make it actually stick.

We're early stage and growing. Every issue is written with one goal: to leave you feeling more informed, more confident, and a little more ahead of the curve than you were on Sunday night.
